My philosophy might seem a little backwards and dare I say, contradictory to being a traditional photographer...
I say take LESS photos. Be present in the moment when it's right in front of you. Spend less time behind some source of technology and don't live in a moment second-handed.
Now here is where I come in. When the moment is important, you need to document it as such. You want to choose someone who is going to be able to allow you to be at ease and as comfortable as possible so the moment and the memories are as authentic and unique as your story is.
